CMT flashing failed in Nokia N900

I've purchased my Nokia N900 for about a year ago. Yesterday I lost all the telephone services; it come into view? Randomly, even though it may comprise after a software update. After searching around Google I found a number of posts that specify flashing the element might help. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 inside, as well as the flashing process goes very fine right up to the ending when it reads: CMT flashing unsuccessful It's restart all my applications, but the telephone services stay dead. FWIW, originally the 5 flashing dots on beginning were going at a fast as well as semi-random speed; they're now backing to a chronological pattern. I can't discover any suggestion as to what's gone mistaken. Do I require to exercise a substitute OS? I've add the full output.

Re: CMT flashing failed in Nokia N900

Your N900 will inform you of an update when one become obtainable, just as it does for function updates. You may start the update process straight away or, if you favor, ignore it for the instant and wait until your cell phone is, say, completely charged and on a high-quality WiFi connection.

    • A blinking announcement–the similar as appears when function updates are accessible–appears in the position area of your Nokia N900.
    • Tapping the warning opens the Application Manager which mechanically shows the obtainable update. (Should you make a decision to hold off on install the update for any cause–demanding, low battery, on exclusive data connection, etc.–you can shut Application Manager. The SSU will stay behind waiting in the “Update” region of Application Manager in anticipation of you’re ready.)
    • Tap the update to start on the download as well as installation procedure.
    • Your N900 will provoke you to create a new backup of your data and settings just in case. Making a backup may be skipped, should you want to throw caution to the wind.
    • Your N900 will shut every open function.
    • Your N900 may restart.
