Xperia X10 mini pro crashes when opening camera applications

I purchased Xperia x10 mini pro this week and yesterday I updated to Android 2.1 version with SE computer escort software. I didn´t make out if this happens to 1.6 duo to the small usage of this android edition. Each time i begins the camera application or whichever application that requires the camera (like Google earth for example), the phone apparently crashes as well as suddenly restart. After the restart, the camera looks to work for the initial time for about approximately 30 minutes or so. Or less that the mobile has been restarted, when i attempt to begin the camera, the Xperia crashes as well as restarts again.

I did not purchased the mobile from the supplier, i purchased it straightforwardly from SE, its a "unbranded" mobile in addition to that there is been more than 6 days it can be returned to the store. The fact is that i don’t feel comfortable sending my phone to any support center authorized support center i´ve read many of bad impressions about them similar to the phone coming back from them with extra problems than previous to and the long time taken to repair it.

I do not consider that is a hardware difficulty since of it works following resume the mobile, but I m so much frightened by sending my phone to technical help, cause, I have heard a lot of bad things about them. I think you must do a software reset as well as reinstall operating system again, but help support could document these things that I could do by myself without upsetting about technical assistance. I am having this issue as well. I bought this phone 2 days ago and the issue started from day. Initially I understood it was a bug or trouble with Android 1.6, hence determined to upgrade to 1 using computer Companion. After updating the problem continues. Each time the phone reboots, the camera works for the first time. Once you way out from the camera view back to menu, and attempt tapping the camera icon once more, the phone reboots.
