The U.S. manufacturer Motorola Mobility does not forget the new market trends, and unveils the first smartphone Andoid compatible with the LTE mobile network operator Verizon Wireless in the U.S., the Motorola Bionic Droid. And the smartphone is rather aptly named with its display 4.3 "960 x 540 pixels QHD and its dual core processor (1 GHz each) associated with 512 MB of RAM capable of decoding 1080p HD video that can be spread over large display via its HDMI port mini. This is really nice phone which offers so many possibilities and entertaining multimedia, including a mirror mode displaying a stream TV streaming on both the screen on the smartphone and a TV, but it also has productivity features with the integration of QuickOffice while all Google mobile applications are present and it is possible to add software via the Android Market. The Motorola Droid Bionic is compatible with CDMA2000 and LTE networks of Verizon. It is Android 2.2, which is present on the terminal.

In any case, the announcement was made about the successor of X DROID by Verizon, Motorola Bionic DROID. Until 4G makes its appearance in France (perhaps in 2013 ?), see allowing Verizon and Motorola to be as sure of their product. In terms of specifications, the Motorola DROID Bionic operates through a dual core processor at 1GHz and 512MB RAM. Two cameras are present, one in the rear of 8 megapixels and one frontal VGA quality. Of course it is equipped with Wi-Fi over 3G and 4G LTE, but also a 4.3 inch screen and can display the HD stream on the screen but also via an HDMI port . By cons, no details on that port or on the version of Android, nor on the internal memory or on the price.

During the event, CES Consumer Electronics, Motorola took the opportunity to reveal the direction in targeted high-powered smartphones with Bionic Droid. Although the software is still a bit raw (not yet have Android Market, for example), in terms of speed seem to be fast. A Motorola spokesman said currently optimizing software and launched with version 2.2, which shows a promising home employment. According to Jha said, will run at 2 GHz of processing power, and hopefully in practice.

Physically, the phone feels soft in the same way that a Droid 2 does, although a bit lighter - good news considering LTE hardware and the big screen, but not so surprising if one takes into account the lack of a sliding QWERTY keyboard. The battery cover seems patterned texture, but in reality is very smooth with a soft touch treatment. Display settings looks very good - in particular, the viewing angle seemed excellent, although all phone screens have a tendency to look a little better in this type of lighting attractive, since it can not remove so easily. Follow the jump for the video!
