How to set auto lock in nokia c6-00

I have recently brought a nokia c6-00. Let me tell you that I am very impressed with its features. Well as it is new for me it will take some time to get used to it. I was reading its manual and got to know a lot about its features. As it is a slider phone I wanted we can lock and unlock it by sliding. I wanted to know how we can do the auto lock in the nokia c6-00. I tried working on the various settings but I was unable to get. Also I wanted to know how we can paste the log details from the tool to the front screen in the mobile. So that’s why I thought it would be better to ask with you all. So anyone of you having any idea then do let me know.

If you ask me I can definitely give you the solution to do an auto lock. Well the solution is quite simple. What you have to do is follow these steps
1) Go to the menu options of the phone.
2) From the menu go to the settings.
3) In the settings. Go to the phone option.
4) In the phone option you will get phone management.
5) Under the phone management you will get various settings.
6) In that you have to select the auto keyguard.
7) Turn auto keyguard on.

In order to create the shortcuts in your nokia c6-00. You have to perform the following functions. Well what you have to do is that
1) Go to the options under menu.
2) Select edithomescreen option
3) Then you have to tap any box which displays the + sign.
4) Select whichever shortcuts which you want to select.
5) Then click on done.
6) After that the shortcut bar will be displayed in the main screen. You have to tap it and then go to the settings.
7) In the settings the shortcut 1-4 will appear and you can change it accordingly.

Hey that was very useful information. Thanks a lot for that . I also needed to know that can we keep some timers for the keyguard. Such that after specific duration the keyguard wil;l get automatically switched off. The same feature was present In the nokia 5800. So is the same feature also available In the nokia c6-00. If you are having any idea then please do let me know as soon as possible.

Well the particular solution specified above is for the auto keyguard lock. So I don’t think so there is any particular setting to set a specific duration for the keyguard lock. Well I really don’t think so it may be having because once you slide the phone the keyguard will get locked anyhow. So I don’t think so nokia people may have added such feature. Anyways if you want more information, you can check any of the nokia websites and you will get the appropriate information there.
