Unable to delete apps from ipad

Now I am frustrating and assuming that I shouldn’t have bought the ipad. What happened yesterday I saw that there is a new update for my ipad. I prompted it hoping that I may get new features and functions but it did the opposite thing. Since after installing new updates I couldn’t able to delete apps from it. It was fine before that update but after it just ignoring my request. I tried the several methods to remove apps which I have seen in some forums but nothing helped at all. Now how can I remove those unwanted apps? Is there any alternative method to accomplish this task?
