Motorola Milestone does not recognize 8gb micro hc sd card

I just bought Motorola Milestone and there is a bit issue with this phone. It is not able to recognize micro sdhc card. I am trying to use my old 8gb transcend card on the same. I had reformatted the card on my computer through card reader. It worked well and there was no issue with that. But when I try to check the same in phone it is not detected. I want some help to make it work.

I have the following problem before 2.1 Android OS update. And I was using Windows 7 for transferring files. Here the phone was easily able to recognized my milestone and it worked well. There was no issue with the connection mode. In your case there can be some issue with the memory card or with the memory card slot. Just check both of them and try back.

First of all, connect the phone to your pc through data cable and see it is detected or not. You have to check that you must get the internal storage. If you are unable to get that then it means you are having issue with the same. It can be a hardware issue. You have to take the device to Motorola Customer care to get it fixed.
