    Changing apps within multitask tray crashes springboard

    I have ztoggle used for multitasking to my iPhone 3G as 4.1. When I upgraded it to 4.2.1 the whole thing was functioning very well that includes multitasking also. I attempted to disable every spotlight options and performed a hard reset. After this also, multitasking is not working correctly. All the applications are getting opened and closed appropriately. If I leave by making use of home button and open them then an icon they change just well but if I attempt to change using the multitask tray then the iPhone gets hanged.
    The only Cydia apps which I have installed are:
    -Installous + AppSync 4.2
    -OpenSSH
    -zToggle

    I am not sure this will help you but you can try it once and check if this work for or not?
    First of all, open up WinSCP otherwise iFile, and go to /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app and there open up N82AP otherwise N72AP.plist.

    You should also confirm that Multitasking is enabled. If you don’t see that:
    <key>multitasking</key>
    <true/>
    And add it.

    Search for the section that has
    <key>opengles-1</key>
    <true/>
    Now change1 to 2. Respiring and there you go.

    I think that the upgrade that you have done is not proper I mean that upgraded files are not installed properly to your system. I am also using the same version that is able to do the multitasking and I can switch. According to me, you need to revert back to the previous version and after that again try to upgrade it. Make sure that the upgrade is proper. If it is due to improper upgrade then it will definitely solve the problem for you.

    If you are having virus in your system then also it can show you the problems like this. Scan your system with a good antivirus. Do a deep scan. It will take some time but will detect all the faults and infected files from it. Try to heal that file. If it is able to heal that then it is OK but if it is not able to do that then you can delete that but make sure that that is not a system file. After that reboot your system and this time it may allow you switch the app.
