Motorola backflip still in safe mode after factory reset

I have a Motorola Backflip, which I got from a friend. It was not in use for about seven months or so. I charged the phone and it came up in safe mode. I tried the hard boot and it still came up in safe mode. I just did a factory reset and it is still in safe mode. Can somebody help me get the phone out of safe mode? Thank you,

    Suzy Q

I think your system is not restored your settings properly and even you have not mentioned how did you entered safe mode. It appears as you need to do a hard reset it once again and hence follow the steps which i have mentioned below

    • Go to menu and then settings.
    • Select SD card & Storage Select factory data reset.
    • Finally It will ask for confirmation , Accept it.
    • Restart the cell phone. The problem should be fixed now.

Well, the only thing left is Software Update. Updating usually fixes all problems of the device. You can update your Motorola backflip's Software by downloading the upgrade package, moving it manually to your BACKFLIP’s SD card, and install it. Alternatively, you can make use of automatic online tool. Connect your BACKFLIP to your Windows PC and follow the step-by-step instructions to upgrade your phone.
