IIS 7 will not install in Windows 7 Ultimate N

Problem installing Internet information server (IIS) on my windows 7 Desktop. I have been using this desktop since a very longtime can you tell me how can i get this problem fixed. Please tell me how can i install the I Internet Information server (IIS) on my desktop computer. I will be very much thankful to you for your help in this matter. I have to run my college project and hence i need the iis very urgently please help me to fix this issue.

By default, IIS 7.5 is not installed on Windows 7. You can install the same by clicking Windows Features in Advanced Options under Programs in Control Panel. I am not aware of the procedure to isntall the IIS in windows 7 but i think it must be similar to the procedure how i installed the IIS on my desktop computer with windows XP. Please follow the instructions which are listed below:

Insert the windows CD in the CD Drive.
Go to the control panel and click Add or Remove programs.
Click Add windows Components and it will list all the windows components.
Check the IIS or internet information server.
Follow the prompts to get it installed onto your system.

To Install IIS 7.5 on Windows 7

You can perform this procedure using the user interface (UI) or a script. Using the UI

Click Start and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, click Programs and then click Turn Windows features on or off.
In the Windows Features dialog box, click Internet Information Services and then click OK.

I would suggest you to go control panel and then click on the Programs. You can see a link for "Turn Windows feature on or off".

Finally try to find the internet information services tree node.
You will notice a lot of options below it.
For IIS you will have to explorer those options.
Check the internet information services check box and click OK.
Now you can navigate to your browser to localhost , you will see the default page.
