I am thinking of getting projector but not the big and heavy one. I am thinking of getting a small projector that should be portable and I can carry that from one place to other without any problem. I have the idea that these kinds of portable projector can provide a better quality of image. But I can use these types of projectors with my mobile phone, cameras other stuffs similar to that. So before buying portable projector I want to know details related to these kinds of projectors and which one will be better to go for. I will be waiting for your related reply.

As you have said that you want to get some information related to these kinds of projectors before buying one. So here is a little information about it. LCD projectors provide more than 1000 ANSI lumens, and thus cast a bright picture on the wall, are often very heavy and loud. So they are not appropriate for mobile use. In addition, the lamps of the LCD projector very sensitive and have each unit to be replaced after about 2000 to 4000 hours. And that's not cheap: An LCD light can ever make up 20 percent of the purchase price Beamer. The diodes of the LED projectors argue from up to 30,000 hours of operation. In addition, light emitting diodes are not as hot as the lamps of LCD projectors. Thus they require less cooling, so that the devices have lower power consumption. For comparison, a small LED projector with 100 ANSI lumens draws 50-90 watts, the LCD device (1000 ANSI lumens), it can be up to 210 watts. Beamer also can be built with smaller dimensions, as they need smaller and less powerful fan. Thus they are also quieter. But there are not only advantages: small portable LED devices offer far from being the brightness of LCD projectors. They also lose brightness over time and the projected image is steadily darker. Simple Mini LED projectors create 100-170 ANSI lumens, while LCD sets to reach up to 4,000 ANSI lumens. Professional Projector creates many more. Portable LED projectors are therefore not as bright as LCD sets, but lighter, quieter and more economical. For presentations with small LED projectors the premises must be very much darkened in order to ensure good legibility. LED projectors based on Texas Instruments developed Digital Light Processing technology (DLP). When she is not as clear as in LCD devices, a liquid crystal screen, but reflects the light. As a result, the devices a greater light output. The heart of DLP technology is the Digital Mirror Device (DMD). On the chip contains thousands of microscopic mirrors that can be moved by applying voltage. At a resolution of 858 by 600 pixels to 514 800 individual mini mirror are on the DLP chip. Each can be individually controlled and placed in two positions. Since the image is reflected directly from the light source can thus be determined whether a point is projected or not. The resulting presentation is only a black and white image. In order to represent gray levels can be in the mini-mirror of a second a few thousand times on and off. If a mirror is switched on and off as often, it reflects a light gray pixel; mirror from the more-are turned on in order to make a darker pixels shades of gray can be displayed in the finest gradations. For a color image requires either three DLP chips, which are expensive 3-chip projectors installed, or a color wheel that most small portable devices or home projector is used. The color wheel is located between light source and the DMD. It rotates so quickly that the inertia of the eye is tricked, and people see no changing colors, but a color image. A disadvantage of this method: it can occur in a rainbow effect. It will not, however, recognized by anyone or perceived differently. The contrast is with the DLP technology is very high and the color uniformity makes LCD sets behind you, even if the color intensity is with them. There are, therefore both the lower power consumption and weight of other arguments for portable DLP projector despite the relatively low brightness of 170 ANSI lumens.

The projector from Toshiba excels by its solid construction and its ease of use. It just needs to be installed and connected and you are off the presentation. The displayed image is not as bright as the Samsung SP-P410M, but there is little keystone. Due to its easy operation, the TDP-F10 is well suited for Power Point presentations on a small scale. The smallest projector in the test, the Joybee GP1, transcribed, is more suitable for private use. It is not as solid as the F10 to use but it easy to use. The best performing unit in the test, it offers good value for money. It's also nice that there is an optional iPod / iPhone dock there. So you should be able flay with family or friends impression. With an output of 170 ANSI lumens, the Samsung SP-P410M is the brightest projector, but unfortunately also the hardest and loudest. Moreover, the projected image is distorted when first setting up and it is difficult or impossible it is to find an optimal setting. If you have managed to remove the keystone, horizontal lines in the image slightly arched. Too bad - the intensity is significantly better than those of competitors. It can be said that the portable LED projectors are pretty good, but still need to be better. In particular, the brightness can still be desired. The noise level, which produces the projectors, is indeed lower than the LCD models, but surprisingly loud. The main advantages are the relatively low price, light weight, low power consumption and long life LEDs.
