As per my idea I can say that this might happen on your system if your system has lost the driver due to any reason, you can fix this problem by simply reinstalling it again in your system. Driver might get corrupt only because of virus, so first scan your computer with updated anti-virus, and then install, I am not so sure that it work on your system, but you can try this out, might woks on your system.

Your camera get disconnected randomly and also get detected automatically, if your connector means the USB cable might get damaged or get broken. Cable gets damaged due to any kind of sort means if you have pulled this cable without removing from computer manually. To fix this kind of problem, just replace this USB cable, and place it properly. I wish that I that it work well on your system.

---- To solve this problem, you can reset your camera, manes this camera automatically turns back to default setting. For this just set the dial option to mode setup in that you will fine reset option, just press the reset button. ---- This might happen to your camera if camera has bad battery connector, it is also possible that lens cap is attached but lens can’t be extended. But don’t you worry about this you can fix this problem, for that just removes your camera battery and place it again properly, after that remove lens cap. This is the solution that I can give you, just try to do this, hope it work on your system.

There is some possibility that if your system has some advanced energy saving option is enable, for this reason the connection switch to off mode to preserve the battery. To fix this kind of problem, just read the manual by which you can solve this problem by disabling the power supply the function. From my side I have only this suggestion, just do it, this might help you to figure it out this problem.
