which is better to buy Dell XPS 15 or Sager NP5135

My current Dell i9300 is starting to crap out on me, so I've been looking at several of the current launches from Dell and Xotic PC. Right now, I'm considering the Dell XPS 15 as well as Sager NP5135. So here is the configuration I needed from them for Dell laptop Intel i5 processor, 500 GB 72000 rpm sata hard disk, Nvidia graphic card of GeForce GT 420M of 1 GB, 4 GB DDR Ram, with 15 inches wide screen display. And here is the configuration for the Sager NP 5135 Intel i5 core processor, 5 GB DDR3 Ram, 500 GB sata Hard disk. Nvidia GeForce GT 425M 1024 MB graphic card, with the over clocking speed of 2.24- 3.00 GHz, 16 inches wide screen display. So friends can you tell me what must be possible laptop I should buy among this two. Your help will be grateful for me.

If you're going to do Auto-CAD or Premiere work t your home, then you don't require the software to screech at you for buying a 1366x768 wide display screen. So the HP laptop is out of the race. Now I m not sure with the Dell laptop to buy or not. Do they link the GPU to the motherboard or do they encompass a particular slot-in GPU board. I've been told it's the concluding in some laptops. This is vital if you're thoughts about upgrades your upgrades then it possible to buy the Dell laptop. Or if you want to buy the 1080 p laptop then I will tell you the Dell XPS 15 series laptop but I'd somewhat go for the XPS 14. But not sure for Sager, since I never heard anything special about this laptop. So I suggest you to go Dell XPS series.

Yes, but keep in mind that we are discussing with graphics cards here and particularly laptop cards that can't be purchased retail in most cases. Not to state that I never recommended that you "throw away" the laptop. A new mid-level GPU system is going to run you a lot more than $150. From the one position that I know of online that you can purchase these cards fresh, you are look at close to $380 for a GTS 250. Investing that kind of money into a 5 year old system isn't actually up my alley. I'd spend the money on a CPU or RAM previous to I concerned with that kind of cash for the GPU system will required. So I suggest you to buy the new dell laptop since it will get inbuilt graphic memory too. If you want to have the Nvidia graphic cards in your laptop then it will obviously choice to buy the Dell laptop.

Well, here's the strange marketing obsession with the Dells. If you desire for the 435M, you MUST upgrade to the intel i7 processor, which cancel out the Optimus capability. So on the whole, I'm looking at:
    1. Envy 14: lesser form, 720p, longer battery time, superior graphics than the 420M, no Optimus.
    2. XPS 14: lesser form, 720p, quad-core processor, good sound, no Optimus.
    3. XPS 15: good quality sound, 1080p, Optimus, lower battery time.

If I take the Dell XPS 14, would you guys advise for upgrading the battery. I encompass the 9-cell on my current I9300, but I don't go portable that frequently. It's regularly stuck into a wall due to CPU under clocking (and being too indolent to compel it to higher speeds). The better battery sticks out from the underneath, but that also permits for some airflow. I previously do that to my laptop, using a number of blocks to raise the rear by about 1".
