Contact Lost due Activesync in samsung monte s5620

Hi..
i'm using a samsung s5620 and i changed the settings in active sync application and it started initial synchronising..
i lost all my valuable contacts.. can anyone please help me by tellin me whether i can restore my contacts from the server.. please help me..

There is no way by which you can recover the deleted contact from the Samsung device due to synchronization. All you can do is to restore the back if any you have saved previously. If you have not saved any back then there is no luck to restore the contact. All i can help you is with this only.

Hey guys ....

Is this is same problem, where the device gives you a msg, stating something about erasing the database, and you click ok?

Cause I did the same thing, once i hit ok, then, a "refresh" symbol gets displayed next to the signal strength symbol on the top bar of the screen. This stays on for about 1.5 hours, and then I get my contacts back, but not everything.

So I have copied my contacts on to the sim, and everytime it gets erased, I copy back from sim.

Please upload better resolves, if any. Appreciate it.

Hi,

Its better if you copy the contacts and save it in your computer or in your mobile itself. You can copy your contacts in excel sheet format file using Kies software. Because copying to SIM will only store mobile number not the additional info like email, birthday etc.
