Samsung S5620 - How to boost signal or reception / external antenna

Hi Folks,

I'm searching for a simple way to boost my reception a bit. I moved to a rural area recently. I have to go out into the cold to be able to make calls and often calls get disconnected.

I have done some homework and discovered that there is no external antenna socket. Am I correct?

The antenna is internal. This link has a drawing that shows where it is.

Do you know of any clever ways to help?

Actually in most of the rural area there are no telecom towers placed, as a result to which you dont get good quality signal reception and the phone call drops very often. There's also unexpected failure comes when your network signal is not good. You can however try changing the network operator to some other networks so that it works out.

Indeed, you are spot on. There are a few spots where I can get a good signal. I can receive texts and calls indoors but as soon as I pick up I can't hear the other person speak. It means I need to get out of my home to make a call.
Other networks are the same.

I hope that if I am able to boost the signal a little bit or if I can find an antenna to put on the roof, the problem will be solved.
