Windows Phone 7- Unable to see new IMAP folder

I have recently purchased Windows Phone 7. I have a IMAP setup in my phone and i have added new folders to my IMAP setup. I have added this folder in order to organize my email, but the problem is that my new folder is not updated in the Windows Phone 7 folder list. Does anyone have solution for this problem? Please try to provide me a solution for this issue. Thanks

I will advise you to try the following steps on your phone.

• Go to the Settings in your phone.
• Then go to the Email & Accounts option.
• Search for your email account and select it.
• Now you will need to Select synchronize.
• Wait for the time till it gets completed.
• Then go to your email account.
• Then select folders in it.
• Now you must be able to see it.

I think that trying this will really help you.

Even i am facing the same problem on my Windows Phone 7. I have spend my 10 to 15 hours in trying to solve this problem but not able to do it. I have also tried the solution which is suggested above, but it is also not solving my issue. I am still getting the same problem. Now i am getting frustrated due to this issue, as it is not getting solved out. Please provide some different solution to me. Thanks for the above reply.

The solution which you have provided is working for me. After trying out this solution now i am able to access my new folder in the IMAP setup. I would like to thank you for providing me the above solution which really helped me in getting my problem solved out. Even other can go for this solution, if having the same issue.

Even i have tried this solution on my mobile phone. It is working only when the Email accounts is an exchange account. I am having no effect on my IMAP account. I am only able to synchronize my existing folders but not any new ones. So please try to provide me some other solution for solving this issue.
