Macbook crashes due to CD developed on it

I am having Microsoft XP 2000 operating system installed on my Macbook. The problem I have come across with my Macbook is that whenever I create any CD on my Macbook it freezes my desktop immediately. A number of pop up window appear saying that Bad pool error with a blue screen and I have to restart. It will not display a message saying that the disk is still in the tray. Macbook reads the disk, does the diagnosis and then burns but still my Macbook freezes.

Steps to resolve from freezing problem:
    1. Download software known as hdapm, which is a Mac OS utility. This tool sets the hard drive performance to the maximum. This will stop the freezing.
    2. Now open finder window and click on Go.
    3. Go to the folder in the menu bar. Type the below syntax
      /usr/local/bin and select Go
    4. Click on application and then select utilities and run this command
      sudo mkdir /usr/local/bin
    5. Now you need to provide password. Press enter and then quit.
    6. Repeat above step to open the folder.
    7. Now run the file you have downloaded and copy the name in the directory named /usr/local/bin.
    8. Copy “hdapm.plist” and paste it to /Library/LaunchDaemons.
    9. Restart your MacBook.

There might be problem of your operating system. Might be the registry problem or start up problem error. Insert the Macbook Pro install disk 1 and press the “C” key. When the windows start click the right arrow. Don't select install windows rather Select disk utility under the window of pull down. Select the hard disk in upper window and select repair. Your hard disk will be repaired and freezing problem will be sorted.

Go through all the applications that are installed on your Macbook because these application programs have many files installed on it. If any application might have not been installed properly or is not compatible with the hardware resolution of the Macbook then there is a possibility that your Macbook will start malfunctions. If you have downloaded applications from unwanted sites re-install that application and install it from company’s websites.

Many problems associated with Macbook are solved by doing PRAM reset. There might be some wrong entries in your RAM system. So the RAM gets blocked with all of these fake entries then it will not be able to access the system RAM. To avoid this you should delete these invalid entries. For this perform PRAM reset. The steps are :
    • Specify the keys (r, p, apple and option).
    • Press these keys while booting.
    • Till three beeps are heard press this buttons.
    • Release all keys after third beep.
    • Now the system booting should continue.

There might be a problem of your device manager. You should repair your device manager. To repair follow the below steps:
    1. Go to my computer then select properties.
    2. Click on tab named as hardware and then click on device manager.
    3. Under the device manager select your writer and click on uninstall button.
    4. Restart your system and then follow the above steps and instead of selecting uninstall select install and click on OK.
