After 4.0 update my iPod Touch does not works with car stereo

Hello,
I am using iPod and i have updated it to 4.0. Before the update it was working well without any issue. After i updated it, then there is problem with the built-in iPod interface, it is not being recognized. Due to this my car stereo is not working. Can you suggest me the solution for this problem? I am looking for it, so please do help me out. Thanks.

I am also getting the same problem with my ipod device. I have tried to use many solutions and i have spend my 10 to 15 hours in order to solve this issue, but not able to do so. I just frustrated with this as it has taken my lot of time. Is there anyone who can provide me a solution for this issue? Even if you provide me a slight hint, then i will try to solve it by myself. Help me out.

Try to implement the following steps.

• First you need to reboot your phone.
• For doing this you will require to pressing and holding the top and Home buttons
• Press it for approximately 5 to 6 sec until the screen will turn black.
• Once it is OFF, now you need to plug your phone in your car.
• Finally try to turn it on.

I think it will solve you issue out.

Even i am getting the same problem with my device. I have referred the above solution and even i have tried to implement it, but it is not helping me out. I have also tried some others solution form the internet, it did solved my problem for a short period, but after some time again getting the same problem. I am now looking out for a different solution and i am also looking to solve it as early as i can. So i would request you to suggest me a nice fix. Please help me out.
