Intel Core i5-460M or i7-740QM

I suppose to buy a laptop of the Intel brand. I have gone through Intel’s new laptop but I am thinking to buy either Intel Core i5-450M or go with Intel Core i7-740QM. Actually I am looking for a laptop which can have gaming ability and for that the laptop should have the good graphics and also with many new technologies are must be in it. If anyone knows which one will be better choice for me then tell me. Thanks in advance.

In my advice you should go with the Intel i7-740QM. This series of Intel includes many of the upgraded laptops which include some extra features. The new Intel i7-740QM having more advantage compare to the i5-460M. with turbo booting It has advance technologies like virtualization Technology which is use for directed I/O (VT-d) and also having the new Execution Technology, which make it good than the Intel i5-460M.

As per you have written that you are mainly looking for laptop with very good graphics then I think you should go with Intel i5-460M. In the series of Intel this model is the best for the user interface. This model has integrated graphics and can be capable for dual display. I think you should go this. I am using Intel i7 from past few months, but I am not satisfy with it, the both laptop has the same size but the main drawbacks of i7 is that it consumes the more battery than that of i5, it consumes battery life at least half. It won’t produce much heat. I suggest you if you are looking for a laptop with very good battery then I think you should go with Intel i5. If you are having any other query then reply me.

There is several difference between Intel i5-450M and i7-740QM and it is also not easy to take decision about these two because both are having good configuration with more capabilities of technologies.
