DVD Player error message on Macbook air

I have a Macbook air and have one USB socket for connecting the Mobile Broadband. I also use it for playing the DVD. For doing this i went into the System Preferences & set Disc Sharing. After doing that i clicked Remote Disk on my air machine. I am only able to get a error message for that. Before i have never faced such problem. I have no ideas about this. If there anyone who can help me in getting this problem solved out. I am very much in need of your support, so please help me out.

Will able to view only streaming movies

I would like to tell you that the Remote Disk is designed for the macbook machine in order to install the programs. Due to this you will only be able to Share CD/DVD-ROM computer disks, but not the movie disks. In short you will be able to view only streaming movies or get the movie as a file stored on the macbook HD. Hope have helped you.

Digital copy DVD can be loaded on devices without a DVD drive

I have a solution for this issue and i will advise you to do the following things.
    1. You can go for the digital copy DVD which can be loaded on devices without a DVD drive.
    2. You try to change your broadband device.
    3. You can go for the mifi device for connecting with the mac machine using a wifi
    4. You can now make the use of the port for connecting the superdrive.

This will surely solve your problem, so try this out. Hope it helps to you.
