MACBOOK AIR: will it works with APPLE Remote?

Recently bought a 13’’ MACBOOK AIR portable Laptop. It impressed me with its features and the looks. All the features are working great. I have a Apple Remote to control the Apple applications, it comes with my Apple TV, which I bought just few months ago. Will it works with the ultra portable laptop MACBOOK AIR, to control the laptop? Is any Apple remote control will compatible with all the Apple product? Any other information about the Apple remote will be appreciated…

May be yes it will compatible with all the 2005 or later of that release machines of the Apple, the functionality of the Apple remote is works with the Apple machines. This will also compatible with all the TV of the APPLE. Earlier of the 2005, the compatibility or functions of the Apple machine was not same, so after 2005, all the products which are having the remote control facility from Apple, are having the remote functionality.
