Re: Windows 7 Phone vs. Android Froyo

Microsoft developers are not really starting from scratch to create the destination mobile OS smartphones. We remember that the Zune HD had already laid the foundations of the famous interface "Metro" used in Windows Phone 7. Compared to the operating system that fitted the Zune HD, Windows 7 Phone brings novelties. In addition to the telephony layer, Microsoft has articulated the general ergonomics around a home screen provided with "Hubs" clever. Also added is not the least: like Windows Mobile, Windows 7 Phone embeds although a small office suite to operate office documents like Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

Re: Windows 7 Phone vs. Android Froyo

Android Froyo has new data- backup APIs, now also Apps backup of user data and allow the restoration. This facilitates the exchange of the Android phones or setting up of reset. A messaging API also expands the possibilities of two-way communication between the mobile and web applications. The new features also include the freedom to choose whether an application, as previously only possible in memory, or rather on an SD memory card is installed. As already announced in late April, is the Android Froyo update also the upcoming Flash 10.1 support. Also, a smart phone with Android 2.2 USB modem be used as an alternative or as a wireless hotspot - unless this is prevented by tethering function is not party.

Re: Windows 7 Phone vs. Android Froyo

Among the new Android 2.2 is certainly support for Flash 10.1 (and AIR - Adobe Integrated Runtme), blatantly snubbed by Apple, which allows you to view the multimedia elements in Web pages is still a beta release because final will be ready by June. Is no less the role of tethering, which can turn a cell phone Android in a 3G modem to connect up to 8 devices at one time or computer via the USB port. One possibility, remember, this theory also in the iPhone, but blocked in the United States by AT & T. Android also supports full multitasking, to run multiple applications simultaneously, and now has the new V8 JavaScript engine (already seen in Chrome) to load pages faster Java.

Re: Windows 7 Phone vs. Android Froyo

It might sound weird, most Android phones are still being updated, but it did not slow to advance their Google mobile operating system. Everyone knows that the next version of Android will Froyo code name, and some rumors say it is the next version that the Nexus will. Based on this data analysis reports, it appears that Google has already begun testing the next firmware - Android 2.2. Google engineers have regularly assigned code names for Android example (Flash, Froyo, Gingerbread etc.), but no announcement has been made for the time being, until that version is completely stable.
