    Does Apple's New OS Named as Mac OS Lion ?

    Yesterday while i was surfing on net i have come to know about the Apple's new operating system i.e. Lion. I have read the article but not sure that this is a fake or true news. Does Apple's New OS Named as Mac OS Lion? If this is true then please let me know brief about the same. Also let me know what advance and new feature are added to the new OS. When this latest Lion Operating system is about to release.

    After Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard, the next version of Apple's operating system could bear the name of Leo. "Back to the Mac", with a lion in the background: the invitation sent to the American press suggests that the new operating system from Apple, Mac OS X 10.7, will be named after the king of beasts.     Steve Jobs finally announced Mac OS X Lion, the next version of Mac OS. " We started with Mac OS X and we created a version called IOS. What we would do is bring these innovations to the Mac . " Among the features that will find their place on the Mac, Jobs mentions multicast, the App Store, offering the home screen as icons of different applications, full-screen mode for software and the automatic backup feature .

    Steve Jobs explained that a touch screen on a Macbook classic will not work. He added that the trackpad proved much more efficient through the tests.

    Over 7 billion applications were downloaded from the App Store. A similar catalog will be offered on the next version of Mac OS with comparable features include: search, revenue sharing with developers or notifications of updates. This new directory, named Mac App Store, consists of several categories, turning the popular applications and the latest titles added.     The CEO of the company, Steve Jobs has presented the eighth version of its Mac OS X, named "Lion", which is scheduled for release next summer. Just like the iPhone and the iPad, the system should incorporate a dedicated AppStore, a sort of supermarket applications.

    Lion Mac renders many of the best ideas of the iPad, plus some new features such as Mission Control, that Mac users will really appreciate. AppStore expected to open within three months and would be compatible Mac OS X "Snow Leopard", the previous version.
