Information about an iPhone Integration with Ford Sync

Ford released that based on an API from Ford Sync an iPhone or other smartphone can be controlled from the vehicle first, the applications. This allows Pandora (Internet Radio) Open Break (Twitter App) and Stitcher (Internet Radio) by voice or touch pad of a Ford advantage. Prerequisite: the iPhone is connected to the Ford, for example, via Bluetooth. The adaptations of these applications were made in less than three days. The app development for vehicles will take it no more, such as the Audi four years but a few days. Read the press release Ford. Getting app functionality inside the vehicle, controllable through vehicle interfaces, will be huge for customer convenience and for helping drivers complete their tasks while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

HotSpot and - in the car as a wireless receiver surf Ford. In a Ford with "Touch MyFord driver connect technology" it will be possible in future to while parked with a wireless hotspot to connect and built-in browser to surf the Internet with. For this, the Fords to a wireless receiver can be equipped. HotSpot is not available, you can one of two USB 2.0 ports, a standard UMTS Stick connect to the Internet and thus connect. The vehicle itself acts as a WLAN HotSpot even then. The passenger can use WLAN enabled devices to surf the use of their car without making a connection to UMTS themselves. And you're not paying for yet another mobile subscription or piece of hardware because Ford will let you use technology you already have. Ford makes it just right. The vehicle may be connected to external devices to follow their development speed, a car manufacturer can not. ZB 4G USB stick. "By leveraging a user's existing hardware, Which can be upgraded independent of SYNC, we've helped Ensure 'forward compatibility' with whatever comes next connectivity technology." Read the press release Ford . You can even connect a USB keyboard to use the browser better.

Re: Information about an iPhone Integration with Ford Sync

Many people we see every day on the roads leading while using your cell phone to send an SMS "last minute" or simply to update your status on Facebook or Twitter. But that is a combination of iPhone and Ford is likely to spend less time playing with the unit and more time just talking while driving thanks to Ford Sync, which allows interaction with the phone via voice. Although still the Blackberry and Android users do not enjoy the same experience soon will they begin to get the first models with the new Sync system. AppLink Sync will be available from 2011, on the Ford Fiesta. The same will interact with the cell phone through voice applications that are compatible, so with a little luck and if they allow developers to use their voice to control your mobile applications. Microsoft has said it will help the developer community to get this support to more applications. Likewise we hope that soon more will join Ford auto and begin to provide such integration with mobile phones.

Re: Information about an iPhone Integration with Ford Sync

The SYNC API is being fashioned in juxtaposition with a related software development kit (SDK) and associated hardware that will include a Ford SYNC radiohead and associated components configured to maneuver outside of the vehicle. The complete package is planned for broader rollout later this year and will allow developers to amend existing mobile applications and create all-new apps that can interface with Ford's popular SYNC voice-activated in-car communications system. By permitting developers to amalgamate the API into their apps SYNC, Ford is providing customers with the potential to access the applications they use most while in the car. Leveraging safer SYNC's voice commands and steering wheel controls, drivers are able to remain their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Using an open API Allows Ford model to influence the mobile device as on operating system and processor, while using SYNC to access the vehicle controls.

OpenBeak is a mobile client for posting updates and interpretation messages on Twitter. It works over the data network, so users do not require using Short Message Service from their mobile phones. OpenBeak is the fruition of the original Twitter app for BlackBerry smartphones, BlackBerry twitter, Which Was launched in 2007. OpenBeak reproduces the app's expansion beyond its innovative functionality. The sync application will take the Twitter familiarity to a whole new level, with safety while interacting in the vehicle as the main goal. Time Lines, direct messages and friends can be read out loud. While listening to a Particular tweet, the display designates the user and elapsed time since the tweet was written. Also planned is the potential to retweet a post, be notified when new-fangled messages are received or tweets appear in a user's time line and, upon startup, the present total number of new tweets. Steering wheel controls will prance to the next tweet or go back to the previous item in the timeline. Working with new partners, Ford is completing testing on the beta SDK. Once the kits are out of the beta-testing stage, a broader liberate of the development tools is planned for late 2010th Initial reports have been positive, with one of Ford's development partners generating a SYNC-enabled description of its app just three days after getting the development tools.

Re: Information about an iPhone Integration with Ford Sync

Ford will introduce HD radio tagging and automatic integration with iTunes. After presenting Sync, which transforms the car into a Wi-Fi hot spot, Ford anticipates other details of the system, which will be shown at CES in Las Vegas. The radio, which will be available on select models, allows the listener to take note of a song with the push of a button. If you are driving, and damage to the radio a song that you like, simply press the button and the system keeps the data in memory. Sync can save up to 100 songs, before you need to connect an iPod or iPhone to sync. Once these steps, iTunes will recognize the songs you selected, and will play a new part, or go directly to purchase.
