I am using Blackberry mobile phone and it is working properly, but I wanted to know that I am getting a notification on my mobile phone. That says unread message. I don't know why it is showing this notification. If you are having any knowledge regarding this notification then help me to overcome this.

I have search regarding your question from that i come know is the reason is behind this problem is the icon is hardwired in the application. You can rid of this by hiding the icon of unread message. For that just click on the icon then click on menu key an then hide. In this way you can remove the icon from notification area.

As far i know that the notification for unread message is appears due to not reading the message. If you have receive any message and you haven't open it then this kind of icons appears. Do check your inbox, for unread messages if it is unread then open that message for reading. In this way you can remove your messages.

I am having a perfect solution for this if you have read all the messages. Take a back up of all your messages to the desktop computer, then after taking backup delete all your messages from your mobile inbox. After deleting all the messages I am sure the unread notification icon will remove from your screen. I hope this information may help you.

You can notify that which are the messages are read and which are unread. There is an method to do this by going to the Messaging in your mobile menu then go to the Text messages scroll the message tap menu then mark as the message as read or unread.
