Desktop 6.0 fails to launch on Blackberry torch 9800

I have bought a new Blackberry Torch mobile phone for which i have downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software but the problem is that it is not launching. I don't have any idea what is happening to it but it is just not responding to the click. Then i installed it again from the same source then it gives me an error messages as “BB 6.o has encountered a problem, sorry for the inconvenience etc” when i try to open it.

I guess the source from where you have installed this software might have gone corrupted due to which it has not been installed properly on your system. I think there is nothing that you need to quarantine as there is nothing wrong from your side. I suggest you to uninstall the current desktop software and then download the new file and install it.

I think you have not uninstalled the previous version of your Blackberry desktop software due to which your pc might have faced conflict with the newer version with the newer version of it. I suggest you to remove all the version of the same software from the Add or Remove Programs. Once removed it successfully then you may begin installing the latest version.

As it is latest version of the Blackberry Desktop manager which might not be having support to run on all the versions of the windows operating system. Possibly the problem is seen with the latest windows os which is Windows 7. There are many vista users as well who all are facing such problems but wait guys, It will get solved soon.
