Help to unlock my SamSung Sgh-A177

I am currently living in India and i have got SGH-A177 from my friend and it's network is AT&T from America. I want to use it in India but i am unable to use it because it's network is locked. Please help me to unlock it. Do you have any idea how to unlock A177? Thank your very much for your valuable help.I really need it as soon as possible i want to use this mobile soon.
