Connect Nokia 1110, 1600, 2310, 2610, 6030 etc. using MobiMB

I have Nokia 2310. It is a very basic phone for use. It is having the connection slot for data cable and I heard that it can be connected to computer using MObiMB software. I have data cable for my phone but dont know the procedure to do connect that. Therefore I am posting this here so that someone on thsi forum can provide be the complete tutorial to so that or some suggestion to do that. Please post your ideas.

First of all you have to download the MobiMB from internet and install that on your computer. As you told that you already have the data cable for your phone, so you can connect your phone to the computer with the help of data cable and create a new connection using the DUV5-cable option -> USB. Once you are done with this, it will automatically detect your mobile and now you can browse all the files which are available in your phone.

Oops that is not working in my case. I did the same according to Florence_USA's post but when I connected the phone to the computer with the data cable, it got crazy. This happen to every time when I connect that to my computer.It says insert and if I wait for few seconds it start the demo tutorial for the phone. Can you tell me what may be the problem with it?

This is very unusual issue that you are telling and I am listening this for the first time and I this there may be problem with the version of the MobiMB you are using. It may b older version. Download the latest version of the MobiMB software and try to connect it again. I hope this time it will connect normally. If after that also you have any problem then you can post that back here.
