the uselessness of the SE sync and the contact list on the X10 mini

I am are about the SE sync since last two years and as listen about it that it has a very high efficiency and also that there are no errors in that program. Also lot of my friends tried it and they found it worthwhile this is too when they used it twice or thrice, But my experience with it was extremely bad, I recently purchased a new mobile phone that is the Sony x10 and want to sync all my previous phone data in it. I was just updating with all the calender reminders and the contact but when i finished doing that at end i found that all the contacts of new mobile phone was duplicated. Again when i decided to go to the SE service i found the button there saying that delete the duplicated data on the service, So i thought that it must be deleting the data of the SE service only but unfortunately it deleted all the contacts that where present on my phone, I don't know what is wrong with it can any one help i getting all my contacts back.

Hey I guess that there is nothing wrong with the SE sync that you are using at the moment but the thing is that this kind of sync are only compatible with the Sony mobile phones. As mentioned by you that you were trying to sync your old phone data with the new and latest Sony x10 but here there is no issue regarding the Sony phone because no compatibility issue arise here but if your old phone then it may have not been able to connect with it properly. Make sure that the data you want to import must be from the same Sony phone.

I have gone through your problem and found that there may be a connection problem between these two phones. I guess what you have to do is just check out with the connection that you have established for the SE sync it is not that all the time the connection will only will cause problem, In this case i want you to just use the restore tool of your mobile phone to get all setting sack and also the contacts of your phone book.

This is the problem that i was facing a few days back , similar duplication problem but here all my music files were duplicated but only there name , because whenever i tried to play the music file than it was failed saying that no such file exists, So what i did is took a back up and hard reset my phone and the other thing is that this problem never occur again, So what you try and do is just take a back up of all the data an then hard reset your phone. Such type of problem we normally face wile we are performing a sync specially with the Sony phones, What i will suggest you to do is just go and place your problem to the Sony service center there they will take your problem in to consideration immediately and also will fix it with in no time, Also do take care that the sync that you used was an original copy of software and also your phone is in warranty if yes then they will charge you nothing.
