Navigation software for Sony Ericsson W995

Activate the GPS to calculate my position. GPS is a navigation system operated by radio waves using a network of satellites circling the earth. Here I wanted to know if it was possible to install a GPS program on a Sony Ericsson W995 that could be used without access to the internet. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

When you use functions that require the GPS determines your location, make sure you're in an environment with unobstructed view of sky. To enable / disable the GPS manually:

    1. Select Menu > Location services > Settings.
    2. Select Enable GPS or Disable GPS.

You need to download the latest version of the navigation application from your PC, You just simply select the mobile you have. Then:
    1. Install synchronization tools supplied by the manufacturer of your device, place the mobile on the base and connect the USB port,
    2. Start the installation by accepting Orange Navigation software installation.
The mention of "unknown provider" is due to the fact that the application is not signed by Sony Ericsson
    3. If a version is already on your mobile, click "yes" to replace it,
    4. Select the installation disk C (phone memory), and agree to these terms of use,
    5. Click "Finish" when the installation is finished.

Free navigation on mobile starts to be emulated. After the temporary free software from Navigon Mobile Navigator is the turn of Mappy to follow this voice, yet without time limit. MappyMobi called the new software is downloaded via a mobile phone and is already working on several platforms, including Windows Mobile and Symbian for now. In practice, it is an application off board, that is to say that the maps are downloaded before each route. However, its operation will require, of course, have a GPS receiver (internal or external standard Bluetooth, for example).

Wayfinder Navigator 7, it appears that the program has a function "power search" to search local (as of June only), a 3D navigation mode, a mode of night navigation, a redesign icons (fashion arrow) in Java, while more than one program that has now virtually the same functions, it is used in Symbian (UIQ, S60), Windows Mobile, Blackberry or mobile Java. For the Java version, the program now occupies only 500 KB of workspace.

Requires a Bluetooth GPS receiver to operate, even a GPS receiver, amAze can have an interface with visual and audible indications to be followed, while more local search of points of interest as possible. Similarly, as the software of this kind, it is possible to create a route, save it and manage it via bookmarks. Finally, the author says the program is currently working on the provision of aerial and satellite maps, or use of topographic maps.
