    Cydia via http proxy?

Hi everybody here! I am using one 3G iPhone and I have Cydia application to manage installation and uninstall of application into my mobile. I have very well knowledge of for using cydia but still I have one question about this Cydia application. I want to ask that will Cydia work via HTTP proxy? My mobile installer works well enough, but cydia looks not capable to connect. Does it utilize some particular port? Thanks in advance if some will give any suggestion about this query

You do not worry Mr. Faisal Prajapati I am also using your same onfiguration. Same mobile, similar firmware and same matter. I had tried all these issues on my device and one very important news I got: I manage my proxy server and made disable all authentications for my iphone permits Cydia to update resource and download packages. It looks that Cydia can’t properly grip proxy authentication or something same. I hope it will be usable for someone here.

    Re: Cydia via http proxy?

I am having numerous problems with some applications not running while at the back of an authenticated proxy. Installer and Cydia not able to refresh their resource. I have think there was a little incorrect with these applications, as they worked fine on a connection without a proxy. But, after some test and error, I have observed that other applications also hit this wall too: Weather and stores also do not get refresh while behind the proxy, but works OK with no it. I have re-pwned my phone fairly a few times, and got nothing. This simply occurred after the upgrade to 2.0.2. It was 1.1.4 before and never gave me a trouble then. Amusingly, Safari works healthy, but asks for username and password even if I have included this on the wifi configuration. Did someone else have these problems to?

Hmmmm its very interesting problem. I have not faced this entire problem but you can try my some advices on your machine. I hope they will help you out. I helped out one of my friend to come out from these problems. He got success. Go to this on iphone and reset the network. Go in setting and then General and then Reset and Reset Networks settings. Try if all these work on your mobile system. I hope you get over from your tensions.

After reading your reply I have reset the network settings as explained there. The similar actions persist: all well on open connections, but nothing on proxy’s ones. Also, I have run several applications on the open connection and on the2 proxy connections also, to observe which one works good and how like YouTube and MxTube are banned on both the proxy connections, so do not work as I was accepting but on the open connection they worked fine. I have installed all these things on my mobile that re 2.0 Safari Patch v2.00-1, Boosprefs V2.12b; Bourne-Again SHel: pwnage; BrFix v1.0d, Mxtube, and all some other applicationsi also have one more installer NES, MAcMan and cycorder. But I choose not to contain them to minimize the possibility of disagreements.

    Re: Cydia via http proxy?

I want to know that is there any method to utilize for the downloading from the repositories in Cydiea? I recognize that the face page of Cydia can be proxy'd but my username/password login box does not emerge when I attempt to download and install any application inside Cydia. My present internet setup is connecting to the server and which authorizes to utilize on the server. Each time you connect to an exterior source a pop up login box need you to validate yourself. Down one is the error which I receive when I try to download and install an application: "http://apt.saurik.com
    HTTP:/1.0.407 Proxy Authentication Required"
