Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 ( 2 GHz speed , 2 cores and 4 MB of cache ) the new Toshiba Portege M400 fully exploits the technological potential of the platform created by Toshiba . Thus , if the i945GM chipset - providing management component of the motherboard - does not evolve, it is now supported by 1GB of RAM ( DDR2 400 format ) capability able to move up to 4GB The set delivers a very powerful computers for this category.

The Lenovo ThinkPad x41 Tablet PCs are identical to those of the Thinkpad x41 range knowing that in addition, an electromagnetic screen (Wacom pad with technology) is integrated. Lenovo says that the integration of technology Shelf (screen) has been reduced in cost, as the products available are not they more expensive than the range of functionality without the tablet.

The iPad is available in six versions which differ only in their memory (16, 32 or 64GB ) and their method of connecting to the Internet: a single bond Wi - Fi , like the iPod touch, or a cellular connection such as 3G + , an option billed $ 130. The base model ( 16GB and Wi -Fi) and back to 500 dollars against 630 dollars for his version of Wi -Fi and 3G +. Note that Option 3G + must be ordered with the iPad : it cannot be added later.

Acer TravelMate notebooks Timeline 8000, the first technology to combine ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) low-power Intel processors , and an LED display for professionals , the manufacturer has oriented screen models 14.1 ( model 8471) and 15.6 inches (model 8571). The TravelMate 8371 is light Timeline , 1.5 kg . It is certainly heavier than a 50 % netbook , but the differential is reduced when it was in hand. 1 kg more in the background , is sensitive , 500g is surprisingly marginal ! Second surprise before opening the beast , his finishing is professional quality.

The Q1 Ultra is a departure from its predecessor thanks to its integrated keyboard. It is divided into two parts either side of the screen and the mouse is composed of a small joystick slim one side, and click buttons on the other. A UMPC is a compact computer that can be used anywhere. Bigger than a PDA, it still allows to use most of the software provided to accommodate the small screen, a keyboard often narrow and mostly limited performance.
