Restore HP EliteBook 2740p to Factory Default?

I am running the Windows 7 professional into the HP EliteBook 2740p device of mine. But let me tell you that it is not having the Recovery Sector. the Recovery sector is missing from the same. Now wanted to restore the device of mine to the factory setting but not getting any way to perform the same. A help may be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you are missing the HP Recovery Media from the device of yours then i will advise you to buy one from the HP. You can get the HP Recovery Media disc from the Internet or from the HP official site. I will advise you to go with the start up factory setting option for the restoring of the HP device of yours. For that all you have to do is to restart the computer of yours and after that press the F11 during the boot. You will get the Factory setting menu and now you can work with the issue of yours easily.

If i am not wrong then you might having the issue with the recovery media and you are finding the way to restore the device then i will advise you to contact HP regarding the issue of yours and let me tell you that you can get the proper replies from the HP engineer. So if you can then contact he HP and see whether it is working for you or not.
