Why are most laptop display resolutions 1366x768?

I want to buy a laptop. I have searched a lot for the laptop of more resolution as most of the laptop of the 15.6 inch screens have maximum resolution of 1366x768. I want to use my laptop for the programming so I need more resolution. Is there any laptop of the 15.6 inch screen with the higher resolution available in the market?

I want to know that what makes you to search for the wide screen laptop. The screen resolution is based on the vertical number of the pixels which fits that aspect ratio. If you want more resolution then search for the more vertical pixel then go for the 4:3 screen. After selecting this ratio you will find a resolution of 1366x1024. Try to find that ratio.

As you want a laptop with more resolution and there are many laptop with low resolution and you don’t want that. I suggest you to go for the business type of machine. Nowadays there are many machines are available with the resolution which you want. I am suggesting you some HP’s business notebooks some of them are : HP ProBook 4321s notebook pc, HP ProBook 5320m notebook pc etc.

I think you should go for the Apple notebooks. As per my knowledge the base resolution of these laptops are 1440x900 for 15” MacBook. As you need the laptop for the programming purpose you can put these laptops as an option. I am sure you will get that resolution in the windows laptop which you want with such screen as well.

The 1366x768 resolution is perfect for HD content and the movies. As you want to use your laptop for the programming purpose. It seems very big screen in the laptop having more than 1366x768 resolutions. I recommend you to go with the windows and the business notebooks. They have the resolution which you want to be in the laptop.

I have searched a lot on the internet to solve the problem and get that there is a laptop with the resolution which you want. The ASUS G51JX-A1 with a 15.6” screen and having 1920x1080 resolutions. I think this will be the better option for you. You can buy this laptop as it has all the things which you want.
