Really high GPU temps on x505-860

Hi everyone , I have fiddled with the video drivers, just performed the reinstallation of Toshiba default drivers, but I am still having ridiculous temperatures on my video cards from HWmonitor. I am idling with the 64 degrees celsius and have achieved at the 98(!!) at the time of playing intensive games. I don't think that I had such type of temperatures when I initially got the system before couple of the weeks.

I am running with the same issues with my x505-870 after only a week, there is only difference is that it is my CPU which is achieving at the 100c after any load..It never moved more than the 100c or at-least thats as maximum as it has been registers, the GPU on the otherhand is topping off between 47c - 50c after hard gaming that seems decent.

I sent the same back for repair before some days and just thinking that it is just a fan but I am not sure about this since I could feel air coming out of both exaust ports... I implemented the program known as speedfan to test out the cpu and gpu temp since the tools that windows and toshiba provide are bleak at best..

Just exactly what games do you users play on the same ? I am working with a X505-Q865 that contains the 360m GPU on the same and I have not suffered anything like 100C before . I have played the crysis, RE5, and AC II on the same and performing some video modification with the help of pinnacle studio..According to me, the highest that I received on the same was 97C using furmark, but that was really extensive.

Playing just games which I indicated above got the same with the highest 80's, but never 90C. RE5 was pretty efficient according to me and it only tops with the 75 C.

My GPU idle temperature is 59C. At the time of playing the games , the temperature is moved to near about 75C. Discussed with the gamers in India, they stated that the GPU idle temperatures of 60C are very common.

I am just trying to consider out what is the actual deal about the GPU temperatures. The GPU threshold temp. is configured 125C, so the manufactures have constructed their chips/memory to manage safely upto 125C.Is it actually moving to decrease the life of my card if I allows this to run with the settings at 60C everyday, for 12-16 hours ?
