Low audio on L505-ES5018

I have recently bought new Toshiba L505-ES5018. I don’t have any problem with other functions. They are working normally but I have the problem with external speakers. Speakers sound very slowly so that I can hardly hear the sound of it. I made all the volume control up but it still seems to be very low. But when I hear the same song in headphone then its volume seems to be fine. Can you tell me what may the problem and how can I solve this problem? Please help.

This solution solves the problem for many of us. These are the direction for windows 7. Your operating system may require slightly different set of steps

First of all download latest “.exe” file version of Realtek HD audio driver. When you install this on your computer then it will require to restart your computer two times.
Once you have updated your audio driver, enable "Loudness Equalization"
Follow the steps

Start --> Control Panel --> Hardware and Sound --> Realtek HD Audio Manager --> Sound Effects tab

OR

Start --> Control Panel --> Hardware and Sound --> Sound --> Speaker Properties (select Speakers then the Properties button) --> Enhancements tab

Scroll down and select Loudness Equalization and enable it. Click on OK button.Once you are finished with all these then you will find your speakers loudness more higher.

This is the biggest disappointment with my Toshiba laptop. I have bought the same laptop I should have asked them for the sound before. I could not believe the poor quality of Toshiba as I have always heard good things about Toshiba. I am thinking to buy an external speaker for the laptop. At least I can hear the dialogs properly.

I think you have problem with your audio driver and you have to reinstall it. This may fix your issue. Go to Device manager search for the drivers installed on the system. Remove all the driver related to sound. When you finish with removing the driver then close all the window and application opened and restart your computer.

When you restart your computer then it will automatically search for hardware and will install the driver for it accordingly. Then play the song and see the difference.

Uninstalling and restarting computer will install the same driver again and I don't think that you will feel any change after this. You should download the latest driver from internet or upgrade the existing driver. There will not be any great effect but you will feel the change. try it.

Do anything you want but you will not get a high effect because the speakers are going to change. I advice you to take external speakers. Connect it to your laptop and enjoy the music. You can buy any speaker of your choice and you also not have any problem if you want to change it, just plug it out and insert another one.

Go to control panel and click on audio icon. Then go to equalizer and set the volume according to your choice. If you feel that the particular setting is fine for you then you can save it and apply it. I hope this will help you and solve the issue for you. I was also having the same problem and it fixes the problem for me and I am sure it will do the work for you also.
