Toshiba Satellite A205-S5855 Recovery

I am having one issue with the Toshiba Satellite A205-S5855 laptop which i need to work with the System recovery with the Recovery CDs but the problem is that i am getting an error with the same i.e. "media not present". I think that the CD ROM of mine gone bad and that is why i am getting this issue. Is there any other way by which i can make the recovery of the same. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

If you wanted to make the above setting working with the same then i will advise you to go with the below given steps that will help you with the recovery of the Hard Drive.

Click on Start
Click on All Program
Open recovary Disc Creator
Select CD or DVD (to create Recovery media on CDs or DVDs).
(Sample Image) Recovery Disc Creator screen
Select the items you want to copy by clicking the check box
next to the item’s Name—recovery files, applications (original
bundled drivers and applications), or both the recovery files
and applications.
Click Create.
Insert the first blank CD or DVD into your writable optical
drive when prompted.
Follow the on-screen prompts for completing the copy process.

If you wanted to know about the different recovery method for performing the system recovery then i will advise you to refer to the user manual which is having the detail regarding the same on the page 59. So if you wanted to know about the same then go through the manual and see whether it is working for you or not.

Hey thanks for the response regarding the issue i have asked about but let me tell you that i have gone through the same and unable to understand the same. Also i have lost the manual which i have got with the Toshiba Satellite A205-S5855 so unable to get it. Also can i perform the system recovery with the USB CD ROM? Hope to get more help.

If you are looking for the manual then i will advise you to go to the to Toshiba and download the same. But if you don't wanted to show more effort then i will advise you to go through t;he below given which is having the download for the manual. So download the and work with the issue.

Yes you can use the system recovery with the help of the external USB CD ROM which can perform the same. All you have to do is to change the boot priority and set the USB CD ROM to first boot now boot from same and start the recovery of the system. Also let me know whether it is working for you or not.
