Re: Gigabyte T1000 Info and Presentation

There are two models available in this

    - The GigaByte T1000X with a resistive screen, a 4-cell battery and Intel Atom N450
    - The GigaByte T1000P with a capacitive screen, a 6-cell battery and Intel Atom N470

Here are the official specifications of Gigabyte T1000X:

The Gigabyte T1000X has a resistive touch screen through which you can manipulate objects on screen to ease the finger or stylus. This is the entry level model.

The Gigabyte T1000P, it enjoys a touch screen multi-touch, a technology natively supported by Windows 7. With it, you can manipulate objects on the screen using several fingers.

This version weighs 1.48 kg with battery and 7650mAh 6-cell measuring 265 x 214 x 41.4 mm. In both cases, once the battery removed, it should normally find a SIM card slot. Also note that once integrated, the 6-cell battery than happily under the chassis. In addition, there are three doors below certainly easier to key components such as RAM or hard disk. On the design side, the Gigabyte T1000 adopts a silver finish on the hull as the inside. The keyboard is a flat matte model keys well spaced from each other. As for the touchpad quite broad, it has two buttons positioned on the sides. On the left are present VGA, USB, an air vent and the audio ports. On the right are positioned attachment Ethernet, USB, USB / e-SATA, ExpressCard and the card reader. Side connections precisely, Gigabyte has made a good effort to distinguish itself with the presence of e-SATA and ExpressCard. While it is present on a very small number of Netbooks is the first time you see an e-SATA integrated into a Netbook. So good for Gigabyte at this level, although some may regret the lack of HDMI.

Re: Gigabyte T1000 Info and Presentation

It is clear that this machine will make a hit with connoisseurs. I do not agree, I just think that connoisseurs will avoid this tablet just because the processor was undersized, now that I found very fair to the Atom netbooks. Just look at the reactivity of tablets under asus atom which is not at all disappointing.
