Motorola Droid : Spell Check - Device Keyboard

I have got an option of an Auto-replace in Running Services -> Android Keyboard -> Device Keyboard Settings. But i guess this feature is not much accurate for replacing the words. Is there any such spell check feature which i may add externally so that it keeps on checking the spelling when i type anything anywhere on my phone.

Though i am not so sure about an enabled physical keyboard but if you would be using the touch keyboard in both portrait and landscape mode then it has a tremendous spell checking engine which helps you to correct the words. If you are looking for such functionality in the touch keyboard then i guess it have not came in the market yet.

You may import some third party application which might do the proper spell check for you when you do any mistake while typing the word in a particular language. I guess there are not such spell check engine for the device keyboard which can provide any kind of spell checking functions. Still you may search for some software for this purpose.

I think you have to wait until android come with its next update in which developers might provide some functionality like this which can help you a lot while typing anything. But for now there is no such functions provided in even an Android 2.2. But definitely there would be after some time.
