    Nokia N73 very slow

I have a Nokia N73 mobile phone. My Nokia N73 phone has become very slow to opening, searching etc. It is also very slow when I press "Back", "Cancel" buttons. Whenever I want to open Messages, search for Telephone directory it take more time.Telephone directory has 230 numbers stored. In the Inbox and sent box only 15 messages. Memory used is 1 GB and Free 638 MB. Most of the used memory is in the form of mp3 and video. Please give me suggestion how it can be solved.

To solve this problem do the following things .....
    1. Make a backup of your personal files on your memory card.
    2. Make a backup of your contacts on your memory card also.
    3. Remove the memory card.
    4. Go to phone settings and make a factory reset and update its firmware.
    5. Restore from your memory card

I think it will solve your problem.

There is a very technical solution to overcome this problem. For this use the following steps :
    • By pressing red key in your mobile come on to your standby menu.
    • After this press the pencil key (This is below the menu key).
    • By pressing the pencil key switch off your mobile.
    • After some second switch on your n73 mobile phone.

The nokia N73 operating software require fast processor and high RAM.The minimum requirements for good performance- 70 MB of RAM and 369 MHz processor. The N73 runs on a Series60 operating software, which is a very advanced and multitasking software. That can run many applications a. The processor and RAM is often overloaded and as a result it hangs. So it is the best option that use the minimum numbers of program on your phone.

There is the problem because of the memory overloading or virus infection. To make your phone faster delete some files in the phone memory. Whenever phone memory is full the work rate of the phone affected. If the problem come by the virus then you should format your phone. Before formatting the phone take the backup of your important data.

Nokia N73 phone is very reliable phone. The problem faced by you is not a problem at all. I think the problem is because of you filled the song in external memory but you are currently using phone memory. For that reason you are disable to view it. For this use this criteria. On your mp3 player, there is an option select source, where you can select song source location to external memory card. Try this I think this is your real problem.

For the best solution do the following things….
    1. Cleared out all of my messages.
    2. Reduced the Log Setting to One day.

After this perform the following things…
    1. Go in Application.
    2. Go into Log option.
    3. Go into Option.

Also installed SMS Accelerator which is designed to speed up not just SMS messaging but also the other phone applications.
