ohmy HTC SYNC doesn't work with Windows 7 for Aria

On windows 7 myself downloaded and installed HTC sync 2.0.33 and it is running without any error. Whenever I install HTC driver there have no error displayed but my Aria reported couldn't find HTC Sync on my Computer while I want to connect my laptop in HTC sync mode through USB. I tried on windows XP but the HTP sync installer always failed. Other people had similar contact sync problem with Aria and Hero. If you have more updated version which works for Aria and Windows 7 combination please reply.

I am facing the same kind of problem. I disable my anti-virus software on installation time and turned off whenever trying ti sync. I found USB debugging switched on in my phone but phone didn't sync. The sync software on my computer did initially recognize my Aria to set up an instance in the Phone Monitor Tool . I think a sync software update is imminent.

The version which is compatible with the Aria has not been published for that reason it is problematic and not listed under the Aria Support info!. Within some days an updated version which is compatible with the Aria will be released. I hope that next updated version will be more compatible for Aria.

There is some criteria provided for solving this problem. Plug the phone into your computer/laptop and put your phone into disk drive mode. In the internal memory of your phone HTCSYNC 2.0.38 will be located. Copy the HTCSYNC file and paste it on your computer. After this you run the setup.

Re: HTC SYNC doesn't work with Windows 7 for Aria

Myself attached it into my PC and I treated it as a drive and I saw that there is no any software to use. I tried only available version and I think that the it is better that use the great phone beside the old phone model because great phone have the better kind of sync software. Old phone have not so good qualities sync software. For that reason there are so problems happen.
