I have recently purchased a new Macbook Pro laptop. This laptop is installed with the latest Mac Snow Leopard operating system. I am having problem with this laptop, when I try to start my computer, it get stuck on logo screen. I have tried to solve the problem but I was unable to get any solution for the same. It is was nice working pc but it fails to work. I want to some help to make this thing work.

For troubleshooting you have to start your pc in safe mode. And then from there you can troubleshoot the system. I had provided a link below which will give you a more detailed information o fixing the problem with safe mode. Just visit the link and then try to follow the instruction. There are lot of things that you can do to fix the problem.

Well you can go ahead with full re-installation of mac if things does not improve. This will surely wipe out all the data from your system. It is not easy to recover if the system is stuck on this mode. You can still try using a live cd. Just try booting your system from there and then see if you can backup files or not. If not then you have to go ahead with full re-installation. Just hold the apple menu after restart and follow the screen instructions and done.

To reset the PRAM on your computer:
Turn off your computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P and R. You need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn the computer.
Press and immediately hold down the Command + Option + P + R keys. You must press the key combination before the gray screen to appear.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup tone for the second time.
Release the keys.
