    Check the following solution:
    (1) Have you installed the newest audio drivers? If not download them from the manufacturers website or try to run Windows Update - that might include the generic drivers for your sound device.
    (2) Have you set the correct sound device? Click Start, type: sound. Then click Sound under Control Panel. Then set the default sound device.

    Is the sound device disabled-
    A. Right-click the speaker icon on your taskbar
    B. Select "Playback Devices"
    C. In the white empty space right click and select both Show Disconnected/Disabled Devices
    D. Do you see icons for your speakers and headphones now?
    E. If you now see it you may need to right click on the correct sound device and select "Set as default device".

    You need to open Device Manager:
    * Click on Start Menu, right click on My Computer, then select Properties from the menu that opens.
    * A window appears, click on Hardware then Device Manager. (Under Vista, you must click on the blue circle in the bottom left, right-click Computer, choose Properties and then click Device Manager in the top left)
    * Another window appears with a list.
    The Yellow indicates an incorrectly installed device.

    If no yellow question mark appears, then you should check:
    * connecting the speakers (jack properly threaded into the green plug the PC, powering witnesses ...),
    * silent mode of Windows (small speaker in the taskbar)
    * section of the Control Panel (explore all over, do not hesitate).

    Access Panel Services in accordance with one of two ways:
    * Start Menu> Control Panel> Performance and Maintenance> Administrative Tools> Services
    * Start Menu> All Programs> Administrative Tools> Services.
    For Vista, click on the blue circle in the bottom left, type Run in the toolbar search and confirm with Enter. In the Windows Run, type services.msc and confirm with Enter.
