Webcam Driver for Toshiba satellite A305 S6858

I have recently upgraded my laptop to 64 bit Windows 7 operating system on my Toshiba satellite A305 S6858 and i know that my laptop is officially not supported for this operating system. Still i would like to use my webcam on this laptop. I have heard that webcam drivers for vista can work with my windows 7 laptop. Can you guys help to make my webcam working.

I think you should first of all go to an official website of Toshiba where they must have provided the webcam drivers for windows 7 operating system but i think you should not select for the model of your laptop as if your laptop is not made for running windows 7 then there wont be any such driver available for the Toshiba satellite A305 S6858.

I think you should only try to update your drivers which you can do from the Device manager of your windows operating system. Go to the desktop on your laptop and then right click on the My Computer after which you have to click on the Manage. Now switch to the Device Manager where you would be having an option to update your drivers.

I think your system might be containing the virus due to which your webcam driver have got infected and you are not able to use webcam on your windows 7 operating system. I suggest you to remove all the drivers from your system and then start installing the whole new drivers on it. But make sure that the new drivers are really new and you are not installing the same one which you have just removed from your system.

I think you should go to the csd.toshiba.com where you can find out the driver for your Toshiba's webcam. I have downloaded the webcam driver for my windows vista operating system which i have installed on my toshiba laptop. So i think you should also get the driver from this website. But you have to search for the webcam driver on this site.

There could be a problem with the software which you are using to access your Integrated webcam on your Toshiba satellite A305 S6858. If still the problem is as it was then i suggest you to call an engineer to solve this problem on your laptop.
