The reset must be in the settings. This will completely erase all information on the phone and start again like making a low level format on a computer. If you can find the reset, enter all zeros for the password and reset the phone. Try to do this and you will be able do the factory defaults. If you have any other problem relate to this then please let me know.

Thank you for the suggest that you have given but unfortunately, there is no reset option under the "Set Up" menu. It should be under "security" that is password protected, and this is not 0000, 1234, etc. I guess I'm probably out of luck. (This is my old friend’s phone, and he does not know the password anymore).

The default lock code for your phone are the last four digits of your
number. You can enter a lock code or to change the
lock code as often as you want.
To enter a new lock code:
    1. Press to display the menu.
    2. Press to safety.
    3. Enter your current lock code.
    4. Press the lock code.
    5. Enter a new lock code to 4 digits by pressing the keys.
