    Facebook on Blackberry Curve 8310 Vodafone

    I am having an issue with which i need to solve with the help of it. I am using the Facebook 1.7 on my Blackberry which was working fine till yesterday but now suddenly it started prompting me for download of the Facebook 1.7 so downloaded and install the same. But it is giving me error: Your login session has expired please login again and some time it is showing error: could not connect because a data service is not available. But today morning it is giving me new error i.e. "You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. Please contact your service provider for additional information or to upgrade your current service plan". I am unable to get rid of this so please help me to resolve this issue.

    I think there might be some conflicting issue between the older and newer version of the Facebook which is not working with the device of yours. So it is better to uninstall the complete Facebook and the reinstall the Facebook 1.7 again in your device. I hope that this will work with the issue of yours. Thanks.

    I will advise you to go with the below given step that will help you to work with the issue of yours and enable you to use the Facebook application on you Blackberry.

    1. Get into the Option
    2. And then to the Advanced
    3. Select the Applications
    4. Delete the Facebook from there
    5. Reinstall the Facebook

    This is then known issue with the Facebook 1.7 which is not getting proper working and giving the error regarding the Data Service. You can get rid of this error only by reinstalling the complete Facebok again into your system. So if possible then install the same and see whether it is working or not.

    Verify that the BlackBerry smartphone is provisioned correctly for data services. If the BlackBerry smartphone is not provisioned for data services, contact your wireless service provider. If the issue persists after the BlackBerry smartphone has been provisioned.

    Complete the following steps to clear the service book database:
    1. Make sure that your BlackBerry smartphone is connected to your computer.
    2. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and double-click Backup and Restore.
    3. In the Backup and Restore window, click Advanced.
    4. In the list of Device databases, select Service Book, then click Clear.
    5. In the Warning window, click OK.
    6. Click Close

The Blackberry is running the Blackberry Support Forum which is developed to support the user of its product, So if you are having any issue then contact the Blackberry and wo4rk with the issue of yours.
