Best Portable media player

Hello. I am planning to but buy a portable media player. I have no idea what to go for which would be better and may be better to choose. Please help me out so that I can get the desired things to be worked and perform for the thing. I hope to get a better solution and it would be better for me to choose the player or what to go for. Pleas help me out for the thing. It would be better.
