USB Flash Drive "Not Recognized"

So i screwed up and did not safely remove or dismount my 16gb USB key. Its worth a bit of cash and i transfer big files alot so id like to try to get this working.

I have tried plugging it in on 3 different computers, one was Win XP the rest where 7. Same result.

I have tried googleing the error but alot of people still see the stick in the device list when they report this problem, mine does not.

Basically its just a Unknown Device in the device list...

Any ideas?
