    Re: Redsn0w waiting on reboot

As you know Apple has released firmware 3.1.3 . But as usual the jailbreak is still there but the baseband to version 12.5.2001 so if you have an iPhone version 3.1.2 desimlocker stay . Except for the V1 iPhone is still unlocked after updating to 3.1.3. So here is the manipulation to be done to jailbreak firmware 3.1.3 on windows and mac. Redsn0w V1 works for iPhones , 3G and 3Gs ( former iBoot ) and iPod Touch V1 , V2 and V3.

You need to connect your iPhone with your cable, close iTunes or not to run and run Redsn0w 0.9, A window opens, click on browse and go to select the firmware that is on your desktop, redsn0w recognize the firmware, click Next , patch the kernel starts. Then select "install cydia "and click Next (if you want your iPhone V1 désimlocker also check "Activate iPhone "). Turn off your iPhone and click Next. Now we will have to place your iPhone in DFU mode.

On the iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > SIM PIN > switch bar PIN enabled / Activation PIN Zero > enter your PIN or 0000 if you have not changed :
    code_pin1
    codepin2
    Then
Launch iTunes 8.2 (iTunes 8.2 required )> select your iPhone in the left column under devices > right click on the icon of the iPhone and select Save from the list:
    Wait for the backup :
    Backup completed :
On iTunes , go to the Edit menu > Preferences ...:
    Step 4
Select the tab Appliances > Check that the backup is recent and click OK ,
