I am having an issue with the Compaq Presario CQ40-109TU which was running with the Windows Vista previously and i have installed the Windows 7 64 bit. After that i have installed all the driver and software and the system is working fine. The problem started after the upgrade of the BIOS. I am getting failure in Flashing the BIOS of HP Compaq Presario CQ40-109TU. So please let me know if you are having the solution for the same.

As per your specification about your problem i will advise to reset the BIOS of your system that you are looking. You have to hard reset the BIOS which will set the BIOS to its factory setting that you are looking for. So perform the Hard reset and see whether it is working for you or not. First off all thanks for the quick response of yours which you have given me. But let me tell you that i am new for the BIOS resetting. And i am having the less knowledge about the hard reset the device which you are talking about. So if you are having the knowledge then let me know about the hard reset of the BIOS.

To reset the BIOS let me tell you that there are some of link available which is having the description about the Hard Reset of the BIOS.
