Issues with PM55 Chipset board and iTunes 9 under Lenovo Y550P laptop

I use a Lenovo Y550P laptop and it is been installed with Windows 7. It consist of PM55 Chipset board and have installed iTunes 9 application to the system. The problem is with synchronization of the board and the application. It is not coping well with the same. Why is this happening? Is there a fix for this? Please do help me out so that I can make the aspects to be cleared well. It will be helpful.
